I took the plunge. Been using a catquiver for the past decade or so and it finally wore out. Never been really happy with any daypacks I've bought, used or researched. I wanted one that would do it all. Bow, gun, muzzleloader, hiking, everything.
I think I now own it.
It is a Badlands Ultrapak. Anybody familiar?
I'll try and keep the description short:
Top compartment guaranteed waterproof with rubber waterproof zipper
Every strap and buckle is totally adjustable and quick release.
Set-up for a hydration bladder
Wrap around waist compartments with waist belt
All zippers have a large rubber pull tab that gets stickier the wetter it gets
Internal frame keeps pack off the middle of your back allowing air circulation through mesh webbing.
Rubberized adjustable harness for strapping on your bow, gun or quarters.
Bottom straps for extra gear.
Unconditionally gauranteed for life for any reason whatsoever, no questions asked, ever.
I gotta say, I'm pretty pleased.
