Wow, that sounds like a heck of a good deal....Too bad I wasn't closer.  Sometimes the big farm machinery that we have is just that, too big for these plots! 
 
Talking about smaller more manageable things, does anyone know where I can get a pull behind sprayer for my 4-wheeler?  Well, not actually for me....One of my friends has one.  I got that one at Fleet Farm on sale (the one you told me about Goose) but they aren't on sale anymore, and he's got the itch.  Also, what about some pull behind seed spreaders?  Thanks....Can't wait to get out there!

The spreader we use is also from fleet, agrifab or something like that. It's red and $80 something, it's got air filled tires and pulls behind whatever. Worked good last year but it's all plastic so you cant go to fast or you'll melt the gears.
The also have some more heavy duty ones there for a couple hundred dollars.

When it comes to used farm equipment, there is a specialistic online marketplace for that kind of stuff: mascus.com. Apart from classifieds there is a dealer locator, which you may find useful. Maybe you will find there soemthing that hasn't been listed on craiglist...

There are numerous consignment auctions coming up this spring & a lot of times they have the smaller oddball stuff that you are looking for.
