When do you put up your stands?

When do you think is the best time to hang bow treestands?

I know some guys like to do it around now through April. Other guys wait til summer.

I was walking my area today and have dialed in some new spots. Can't wait to get stands up!

Interested to hear what the Wisconsin guys think.

Also, I have a blog I've been fooling around with for about a year and a half. I just do it for fun. I have no financial gain by posting the link, so I am going to do so here. Interested to see if any of you check it out and what you think.

Hope it doesn't offend anyone. And if D&DH have an issue, I will kill this post.

When I hunted private land, usually in the spring before the foliage on the trees and ground sprouts up.

I put my stand up the day I hunt most of the time. I like to hunt mobile and only hunt a spot a few times a year so the deer don't catch on. Most spots I only hunt once. I do have a couple stands up permanently on one small private farm, but they too only get hunted a couple of times unless they are observation stands.
