Everyone ready for the opener?

We're only about 1 1/2 weeks away from the bow season opener, got your stands up, a buck picked out, your gear ready, your bow dialed in?

Must trim some limbs since Ike visited but all else is good.  No bucks yet, but covered up in does.  Not worried though, every rut brings big boys in.  Good luck all, Panman

Man, I am worried.  Ike hit us here in Columbus hard.  I hope he spared our hunting land. 
 
I need to get down to our hunting land and make sure all our tree stands and feeders are still in the trees (heck, I hope the trees are still there...)
 
But before Ike, we were definitely ready!!!

All ready!  Walked a new set of hunting land Monday after the storm near Zoar, OH.  Not to bad, but there were some trees down. Lots of small debris on the ground, made walking around very NOISEY. 
 
I hope that all of us in Ohio will continue to post through the season to keep tabs on deer activity and behavior. 
 
Any info is good info when you cannot spend everyday in the woods.

I still got a few stands to hang, I have my trees picked out, I'm going to hang my remaining stands and hunt them the same day, to limit disurbance in the area this close to season.  Plus I always keep a least to stands to put up when I find a hot spot during the season.

Well were less than 24 hours away everyone ready & excited. I can't get out till Mon.(work ) Its still a little warm, but I'm ready to go out and enjoy the beauty of nature and fill a couple deer tags.

I'll be out Sat. Evening.  Weather forecast is calling for cooler temps next week, and front moving in mid week looking pretty good.

Just found out I got birthday party to attend saturday afternoon looks like the opener is out for me, good luck to all that get out.  Leave some for me.
