Brow Tine, welcome to the forum! I'm also from west-central WI. 59B to be exact, so you're not too far away!
How has the hunt been so far this year? I'm only able to hunt the weekends due to work, and I've been out three times so far. I didn't end up going the opener because of the rain. Second weekend I only went out once because of the heat, and then last weekend I went out both Saturday and Sunday nights. Had some good weather and saw deer Sunday, about 15 of them in a hay/soybean field. Heading out again tonight and tomorrow!

So far things have been ok for hunting. I had a 120 class 10pt walk 20 yrds broadside of me on Saturday night. I havent shot a doe yet in this zone so I had to let him walk. I about started crying in my groundblind..[:D]

Brow Tine I hear ya, it sucks when a big buck walks within bow range and you can't shoot him but now you know he is out there and hopefully you won't have buck fever as bad when he comes back in.

Well the season is getting better. I finally got my doe last night and my EAB sticker.
These little does still make me shake as much as the big guys and gals.

The majority of the zone is Buffalo County.
You can do anything you want, but you'll eventually have to answer to THE MAN for it!
