I would target the older buck. 3 1/2 year old bucks get a pass from me no matter what their headgear looks like.

I would go for the younger buck....
....since it's been 3 years since this thread was started, that 6 1/2 year old buck is probably dead, and that 3 1/2 year old buck is probably sporting the biggest rack I will ever see!

Well considering that this is a question on QDM the correct response in my eyes would be to take the older buck seeing how he is on the decline, and that in turn giving the 3 1/2 year old a good chance at soing his oats and putting on another 20" or so for next year. Just my opinion!!!!
