Heard rumor of a 231 5/8 green score 23 pt buck taken in onalaska WI. Anybody hear or see anything on this or any truth to it? Heard it was taken last Fri.

Ya i saw the picture of it on mikehanbacks rut report.  Just a beast of a buck.  The monsters are falling and its not even the rut yet!

I believe you are refering to the "Hokah Legend" which was shot in Hokah MN. The hunter works in Onalaska according to the LaCrosse Tribune.

That would be it! Thanks for clearing that up. Didnt know they grew them that big in Mn.   That must be the same one on the RUB LINE blog. Amazing how it flies around in the blue nowhere .

That's a buck of a lifetime....I've seen a few similar to that shining in the great state of WI, but nothing up close hunting.  Very nice!

Yeah i saw that beast on the rubline today, man what i would do just to see a buck like that! One hell of an experience that would be! Awesome deer.

Thats a great deer from MN but I like the 200 incher from wisconsin with the droptine. I think it was shot in Clark county WI. Both bucks would do for me..
