I understand the muzzleloader - kind of a nice change. I might do this for a challenge. The bow and using bow license during gun season has me scratching my head. What is driving this? The only people I could see this benefit are:
1. Guys who what to shoot two bucks and claim one is with their bow license
2. Felons now can be in the woods during gun season
3. Guys can bow hunt on lands closed to gun hunting.
How many people do you really think are going to restrict themselves to a bow and arrow when the rest of the state has slug guns and 30-06's?
What am I not understanding with this change?
