My 2011 mount and the 2010 sheds mounted onto one of those plastic skulls. Turns out the deer would have scored higher in 2010, but it is definitely the same deer. Now that I have the sheds, I wish I would have had him aged and weighed. The taxidermist said he had the biggest cape of any deer he did this year, but far from the biggest antlers. Given that his antlers went downhill, I gotta believe he might have been older than the four years we thought. We thought he was four because we had pics of him at what we thought were two and three years old. Who knows, I just know it adds to the fun when a deer has history.
