Big buck

Postby jacobdpearce » Sun Sep 23, 2012 11:15 pm

This deer recently showed up at one of my stand locations. Hes got the same antler formation of the buck i killed last year so we think hes the daddy deer. Im not big on scoring deer but anybody care to take a guess?

The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

I'd say more like his brother. That deer doesnt look that old to me.

Id deffinitely say negative on the brother. The deer I killed last year was a nice 15pt but obviously younger than this deer. I wouldn't pretend to guess his age from this picture though because they can be very deceiving.
