Love to help.....but not enough knowledge hunting down South. I'm up here in Ontario Canada.
We have a doe decoy.....seems to be working fine.
Late in the rut.....buck decoy. Rattle. If there's any Gladiator around....and he's still a Gigolo...he'll come in.
But listen.......find out about decoy hunting. There are some good books around and articles....to show you the proper way.
Everybody has their preferences....some doe....some buck.....and some both.

I have a doe decoy and during the rut I use "Tinks scent sticks".It works but he wants to see something that's putting off the scent and it brings them in closer.
