well short of my aggravation with with people checking up on me while i am hunting .. ..

i am hoping that my wife talking to her parents will work out and well this morning it did ...

had a doe and 3 babies come in about 830 this morning and i just got to work ...
have her packed in ice and hanging in the shed ...
half her heart was split in 2

Made me add the hours up. 17 hours total, killed three deer and one turkey, messed up a shot at 22-yards when my arrow rattled on the hook while taking to bow down.

Cold front coming in Sunday night. Going to wait until Monday morning to go again. Firts three or four days next week look good for both morning and afternoon. I need to kill four or five more to fill everybody's freezers up. Then I can start serious buck hunting.

as excited as i am about getting this kill got a phone call about my grandmother last night ...
i knew she was in the hospital for a broken hip and surgery was a success ..

while in recovery she suffered several heart attacks about 1:30am and passed before 2 ..
they did everything they could to revive her ...
she was 89 and my grandparents had just celebrated 70 years of marriage .in july .

... thanks .. but my excitement is nothing more than confusion now ..


i guess the excitement is postponed till the next harvest ...
