7-13 days after the 2nd full moon are supposed to be the best for the chasing phase.

I think C.A. is going to be off a little bit this year.  When driving home this evening, I saw some big bucks that were cruising.  Right on the edge of the highway, so I don't know for sure, because I haven't done any research, but I'd get out prior to that full moon, based on the activity I've seen already (in stand and driving).

Field and Stream says November 12th is the one day this year you should be hunting, if you can only hunt one day.
 
Deer were moving quite a bit this past weekend in NW Missouri.  No chasing going on yet though.  At least none I could see.

My mistake ,the full is on the 13th, but from the diversity of answers (or lack there of) it seems that observation of the area  to be hunted is by and far the best approach.

Observation of the area is always the best approach.  Too many factors come into play when it comes to effecting deer movement, you can't count on just one.

Deer and Deer Hunting is an excellent magazine, actually the best when it comes to deer biology and hunting.  However, competition is good, and the latest edition of Field and Stream has excellent strategies for each week of the rut during November.

I wish i didn't have school the 12th, maybe i will have to skip out... lol, I'll have to read that article and see how it matches up to alsheimer's in one of the recent D&DH article he had.
