I stand corrected! Broke it was! VERY broke!
I remember buying frozen pot pies at Safeway for .25 a piece. We LIVED on that, Coors, and chew. Once in while we'd splurge and get tacos at Taco Ring on 3rd street, or if we were REALLY in funds we'd go to Kings on Grand Ave where you sat at your table and ordered your food via the telephones that were at each table, or the"all you can eat" lunch buffet at Shakey's. Now THAT was some high livin'!
It's a darn good thing we were good for a deer or three or once in a while an elk or we'd have gone protein-less for a good part of the year!
