Well sometimes it happens when you least expect it to. Saturday Oct.20 was too warm for deer to move, but I had an 8pt buck come out to the edge of the field I was hunting and my 40 yd shot found its mark. I recovered the deer after an 80 yd tracking job with the help of family. After field dressing the deer, his stomach contained all green matter, no acorns,corn or apples. I'm seeing deer regularly in the fields I drive by but that will change with the rut coming. Good luck to all MA hunters and lets get this MA forum rolling again.
