My only question about this whole topic is how could a club with the prestige and respect that both B&C and P&Y have even consider putting these animals in the book?
Everyone has a reason for doing something like this and most are for the benefit of someone financially. How would doing this benefit these clubs? I can only see it hurting them and loosing their credibility. Unless they are figuring that if they allow these deer to be entered then the guys shooting them and paying top dollar to do so would send oodles of money their way????
It would really loose them alot of respect from us real hunters.
Hunting isn't a matter of Life or Death
Its MUCH more important than that!
A game farm raised buck is just that, an animal raised inside a high fence. Therefore they have no place in the Pope & Young or Boone & Crocket record books. I don't see how you can find any satisfaction in harvesting one of these domesticated animals.
