Three years ago, I needed help to walk 100-yards and was able to hunt 90-minutes total all year. I killed one deer.
Yesterday, I drug number seven for the year out and threw her in the truck without getting out of breath. I am even considering elk hunting again next year. If I think I can handle the NM altitude, I may go.
With work, determination and a lot of help from Tam Apo, I have come a long way from being nearly dead.

The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

I had a bit of my own "rebirth" a year or so ago. I lost about 30 pounds, got a lot of my stamina back, and my knees don't feel like they're about to give out on me. Now if I could only make some money again I just might be able to enjoy it!

Was it the "locks for love" program?

Congratulations! That is great to hear. I lost 20 pounds this spring and I feel better then I did in my early thirties. Increased strength, stamina and confidence can go a long way to help you be a better hunter. It can also make you a lot happier.

If you mean "locks" as in hair........I don't think so! What hair I do still have is grey and few and far between!
