Anyone else think that the "net" score is completely ridiculous? Especially the fact that it's the final score shown in the record books. The net score doesn't really tell how big the deer was, all it really tells you is how symmetrical it is. Say one guy shoots a buck with a gross of 185 and a net of 180. Another guy shoots one with a gross of 195, but after deductions, only ends up netting 175. The 180 buck will be listed ahead of the 175, but whose buck is really bigger? See? It makes no sense!
