if this doen't happen to you then you can not imagine...this happens to me on a regular basis it happened twice this hunting season and i was in a climber..
 
man what a race aganst time...i had to get down go to the cabin and try to get back on stand...welll let me tell you no sooner did i hit the ground  i needed to erupt.... it ruined the day( or at least the mourning hunt)
 
i think it is from getting up so early and being relaxed in the tree but who knows..
 
it really stinks though...

That's what scent lok is for. 
I got my first scent lok suit when I was in college, I ordered it from cabelas so naturally when it arrived I wasn't home.  When I got home it wasn't on the porch, no.  My roomates had taken it and were wearing it around the house farting in it, to see if they could still smell it. I don't remember the out come of the expirament but funny none the less.

        The short answer, NO! Scentlock pants do not, I repeat "DO NOT" prevent the release of stench of, camp chili, cabbage soup, or any other 'highly volatile' foods!! Trust me!!

like other people said coffee is a must and i dont smoke, but a nice rip always help. coffee + chew = instant laxitive

Way to go JPH, this forum has really hit the crapper!  Now the next time I crap in the woods I'll be LMAO thinking of the this forum and the initials JPH!

JPH try "Metamusule". It is a fiber laxitive comes in a can at walmart for about $9.00. Mix 1 heaping tablespoon into a large glass of water before you go to bed. In the morning just follow your regular routine, you should be all set for release before you dress to head to your stand.
Works well for me you can adjust the amount(1/2-2 tablespooons) if you can't last the night or take to long in the am to get started.  cdn1
