2012 Montana Hunting

[Montana Man]

Some of the bucks taken off our ranch as well as some that are still running around. We had a total of 4 mule deer bucks, and one whitetail buck taken this year. We had some hunters on a summer pasture and the weather turned bad and I wasn't able to take pictures of the two mule deer and whitetail buck that they shot, but I got the two that were taken around our house.

I sat and watched this guy chase the does around during rut.

This little guy walked within 10 yards of me. A couple more years and he'll be a nice one.

I woke up and sat at the computer and he was just standing there. If the picture is fuzzy it's because I need to clean my windows.

Looks like a "target rich environment" to me. Nice bucks...good work.
I have no experience with mule deer, so I was wondering what the bucks in the first picture would weigh?

We didn't weight them, but by guessing we thought around 200lbs. dressed.
