150 gr. Remington for .270

Went to the local sport store to look at things and noticed the shelves almost bare of ammunition. I picked up some 150 gr. SP by Remington. I usually shoot 130 gr. ballistic tips. With the craziness of the current situation I thought it was better to get while I still could get something rather than have regrets later scrambling for even a more limited selection later. My question is - Is there a noticeable difference in recoil, range ( 100yard is a long shot for me).

I didn't notice a difference in recoil, but I did notice a slight difference in accuracy and had to re-site in the rifle after I changed grains.

expect to hit 1 to 2 inches lower out to 250 yards after 300yrds it will drop rapidly. also if your rifle is ammo sensitive windage could vary too. Best to shoot it first before stocking up on it. noticed ammo shortages every where so good luck hope it works for you
