2013 sheds

Has anyone been out looking for sheds yet this year? From running my cameras all winter and feeding deer i would say about a little over half of the 14 bucks im feeding have shed. Usually im out looking by this time but this year ive got my own lease and im waiting until about mid march to start looking so i dont push deer to the neighbors property and have them shed there. On some other properties i shed hunt you almost have to start looking early as shed hunting has gotten quite popular around here. 10 years ago i had it all to myself. It was like an easter egg hunt and i was the only one looking! Not so anymore. Best of luck to everyone!

I've been out placing and checking cameras quite a few times, havent found any yet. Only found one last year and that was late summer so it was pretty chewed up. I'm in big woods and I have trouble finding them.

I have been out a few times and was fortunate enough to find a nice 4 pt side last Saturday. I had driven past the property during the week and there were a pair of bucks out in a bean field sporting both antlers. I knew they would be dropping soon so I went out looking the first chance I got. I don't know if the shed I found was from one of those bucks or not. I don't really have a ton of luck picking up sheds. On average probably one every 2 years. So I was pretty happy with my find.
