2012 Trail Cam Pics

I've had some decent pictures of bucks lately, mostly moving after 10pm, so I'm guessing the mornings around me are hotter than the zero bucks I've seen during evening sits the last week, but this is a picture I couldn't resist posting...

Buck fawn that just stood in the field in front of me for over an hour...once I decided to get down and felt it was dark enough, I figured it would bust, however...it stood there watched me grab my trail camera cards, and then didn't move an inch even after I walked back towards it on my way out of the woods.

I got some trail cam photos of a 1-1/2 year old piebald buck in VA two years ago, and then he showed up again this year at 3-1/2 after not getting a single photo of him last year.

We had hunted the south side of the property pretty hard a weekend ago. My son's stand is 40 yards from where these pictures were taken. So we hunted these stands pretty hard both Saturday and Sunday and didn't see hide nor hair of anything. So we decided that Monday (10/29) we should sit food in the afternoon. So we were on two different stands on the north end of our property by the turnips when these two boys walked by in the middle of the afternoon.

LOL That's funny. Sounds like my luck last year Umpire. I rattled in and had close vis on 3 shooter bucks. Three different ones. Does were there as well and the bucks left with them before I ever even got shots off. Post season I actually got a piebald on my camera. I had it set to video mode though, not sure how to post that here so I wont even try. Deer is solid white body. Neck face are normal coloration. Very cool. A buddy of mine got a still pic of it before bow season. A normal doe, a twin that is normal and the piebald. Got all 3 of them eating corn I had put out post season. The twin is a small buck. Had buttons I could see on the clip but couldn't tell one way or other about the piebald.
