I too can't wait til tomorrow.  Even the weather looks like it will cooperate which doesn't usually happen early in archery season.  They are calling for low of 40 tonight where i am at.  That should be perfect weather to usher in the season.

See my post under Missouri's worst year for my opinion of PA's current management for the NW part of the State.

I have a camp in Forest county too, and it is tough hunting there.  Last few years, I dont even go up.

Some people, unfortunately aren't true hunters. They only want to be killers. They measure success by meat on the truck only, not through experiences in the woods, hard work, and patience.

That is SOOO true!  That's 75% of the people I know who hunt.  It begins and ends with killing for many.  Some guys believe that if they dont kill a deer, that Game Commission has ripped them off for the cost of the license.  Ridiculous!

I am a NWPA hunter and the AR up here has been a much needed improvement,  we have 4 on one side rule in our area.  The amount of "better" bucks my party is seeing has greatly improved in the last several years.  I realize that PA is not known for its "trophy" producing compared to some other states, but alot of hunters, not killers, that I have spoken with would like to see some increases in AR.
