I have a question about cooking home made venison hotdogs, or home made hotdogs in general. I've found a bunch of recipies online on how to make them, but they all say you smoke them to a certain internal temp. I was wondering if you can stuff the casings and put them right on the grill without smoking them first. I typically grill all my hot dogs and brats I get from the store weather they are pre-cooked (don't taste nearly as good) or not. I just haven't seen any recipies that don't include smoking them.
