Hunting new Michigan property

Postby recurvehunter » Thu Oct 10, 2013 10:21 am

Hey all,

I have recently purchased 80 acres of land on the north east side of Michigan, the property has a lot of ridges mixed with oaks and thickets. There are no food plots on this property, I have not yet had a chance to hunt it but come this weekend I will. I have the deer slightly patterned down with two trail cams. My question is I am going to be putting up other stands with no scouting whatsoever, which brings me to where would you guys recommend, I was thinking along thicket edeges in oak flats. what else should I be looking for? thanks!

Not trying to be a smart aleck, but wouldn't you want to hunt where the deer are?
You have the camera's and the pics right?
