My Buck

Postby loneranger » Mon Dec 02, 2013 10:02 am

Here is pic of my bow buck. Following a doe grunting. Doe spoted me on ground. Began that stiff leg routine. I thot jig was up. Thankfully she settled down and walked on. He resumed his walk into my shoot lane. I grunted to stop him. Let er fly, and saw hit. He ran up hill 25 yrds and stood looking back,,,then,,hit the ground! I was sure lucky he didn't spook!

Tall brow tines always make a rack impressive. Nice
Keep life simple...if you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.

Thanks much,,I spent 50 yrs hunting in a state that had predominate yearlings.Moving west made a big difference. Brown Down is popular out here too,,just not a many hunters. Smaller human pop oveall in fact.
