Great buck to bring home. Any idea what it weighed? By the way, I'd take a big doe any day and be happy.

You guys had more like than I did hunting here in IL the entire bow season and both gun sessions. Glad you were able to score and had a great hunt!

The buck weighed 240. Doe was around 150-160. We were hunting a 100 acre farm that gets almost no pressure. We hunted all 4 days, and I saw the same group of 5 does 4 or 5 times. The deer seemed used to having people on the farm. We also found a nice 10 point dead. According to the farmer, looked like someone shot during bow season and could not find. He said it definitely wasn't blue tongue. I brought the head home and am going to do a skull mount.

Here is the nice 10 we found dead. Wish I could put my name on this guy. Great deer.
