Field Notes Alabama

Postby 69Viking » Thu Oct 09, 2008 7:11 am

Ok, the season has officially started.  Post your Alabama Field Notes and let everyone know how your doing.  So far I've been out just 2 days in Northern Conecuh County with no luck [:@]  I will try a different location next time if the deer cam doesn't pick up on any deer in the area.

I live in Gulf Breeze and also hunt in Conecuh county. We are all planted and looking foward to another good season. Last week when my son checked the cameras most of the bucks were still in velvet. We will have a few bow hunters up on Wed. and more up on Sat.  Good Luck and Good Hunting...

Great to hear from you!  I'll be on stand Wed. thru Fri. hoping to get my first deer of the year.  Good luck to you, I'll post an update when I get back Friday or Saturday.

Hey guys, I hunt in Shelby County AL. Killed a doe on Saturday and another on Sunday. Like that deer burger. I will kill one more doe to give us enough meat for the year and then I will be hunting big horns only. Hope you guys have a awesome season. Post some pics when you get some and I will do the same.

Bulls eye, I used free photo editing software from Google called Picasa2.  I just edited to be 800 x 800 or 600 x 600, can't remember the exact resolution setting.  I think anything 800 x 800 and below will show up pretty good.
