Kil scent or mask it?

Postby buckfarmdude » Fri Dec 05, 2008 6:44 am

I used the Primos xp with fresh earth this year, but then wondered if i should have just gone with the regular stuff without the fresh earth. anyone else have any opinion on this stuff? I thought the fresh earth scent was too strong. I kind of felt like I couldn't cover my hunting clothes with it without absolutely wreaking of fresh earth. should i kill and mask my scent, or just plain kill it? i would like to hear everyone's opinion on the one
Psalm 42:1 "As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for Thee O God."

Me vs. scent = Kill it! Burn its villages, carry off its women and drive its survivors into the hills. Erase any record of it from the books and kick over its bicycle.

...but that's me.

I prefer to "harvest" my scent. It doesn't offend as much.
I have been trying to find a scent harvester spray, but my efforts have been for naught so far..........[;)]

My goal- Be 100% scent free.
A deer can smell multiple things at once so what good is a cover scent???

Genesis 27:3 Take your bow and quiver full of arrows out into the open country, and hunt some wild game.....

Good point Goose! Its all about scent elimination for me.
When a hunter is in a tree stand with high moral values and with the proper hunting ethics and richer for the experience, that hunter is 20 ft. closer to God.
