Dude, you are lucky to be alive. An injury to the spleen can result in its rupture and a massive internal bleed. Much like a head injury. This is especially the case if it goes un diagnosed and you sit on it.

Wow!

Please don't feel embarrassed! Feel blessed to have been given a second chance. Now you owe God the gift of spreading this message. Have courage and keep telling the story.

You truly are blessed. I fell from not even that high and barely escaped death and paralysis. Some of you have read my story. Here it is again for those who haven't. http://www.tnhunting.com/stories/garrett/billyword.html

dxthunter57 ---- It's easy to give someone advice on what to do like you should have left to see a doctor right away . But ......... I bet a good percentage of us would have done the same as you and stayed to hunt . It just goes to show the importance of seeing a doctor after a fall ! Hope you will be okay ! [:)]...[:)]

Yes, and a good percentage of us are quite stupid. I lead the pack, but as I mature, I find myself listening to that quiet nagging voice in my head. I am still an idiot, but I am starting to do the old "risk v. benefit" more often. Thank God.
