Screwed up Horns

i was bringing my deer to the check in station there was deer that had one antler sticking out of the forhead and the other one was normal it was like a unicorn
i dont have any pics
have any of you guys seen this before
how could this happen

Haven't seen it other than in pictures.  Some type of injury to the pedicle most likely, or maybe the pedicle just developed in the wrong place for some reason.

I have never seen it..But I hear it can happen. My buddy is dying to shoot one like that. He says if he ever does he'll get it mounted.

I have never seen it personally, but I have seen some pretty ugly deer before. Just a glitch in mother nature I guess.

Sounds cool I havnt seen one in the woods just in pics. I love those crazy screwed up racks gives em character and character means more to me sometimes than size..

Probably from West Virginia...too much in-breeding going on there...in the deer population too.

no it had one regular antler the other one was in the center of its forhead

so lets say
u are looking right at the deer
the left side antler curls up over the honrs normallly
but the left side horn is coming out of its forehead

oh well this deer is like a unicorn. another weird deer that i have seen in the UP in the UPPER PENNISULA there is a bar called the Jack Pine and they have deer antlers mounted all around it. one of the mounts has a normal looking rack but there is another point that comes out under the main beam that happens to look like a whole nother main beam. it was the coolest thing i have seen.
