I just got a climber over Christmas and haven't bought an HSS Vest but plan too.  Question: How will you know if it's a 2009 model?

I don't know?
I'm sure there will be plenty of advertisement for it.

Goose,

The HSS vest I have is the Treestalker and that is the HSS-7, the model I have is atleast a year old. Im not sure what the new one will be but like you said Im sure there will be alot of advertising for it

Only on the D&DH forum are a bunch of hunters excited for a new style of  safety vest[:D]

Safety Harness

Postby dadof3upatree » Fri May 08, 2009 7:59 am

Does everybody wear one?  I do. Always, but alot of my buddies don't.  Alot of bigger and badder men than me have not worn them and some of their children are fatherless now.  Do you wear one?

I know this is not the correct answer, but I don't wear a harness.  I do wear the old style safety belt.  I've tried putting on the harnesses that come with treestands these days.  I have to be honest....they were a complete joke.

Again (wrong answer I know), but I don't feel like paying $100 for the vest harness when my current belt has worked great for me all these years.

I'm only 33 and starting to sound like an old cogger![:D]

If someone can recommend a convenient harness style / brand that doesn't cost a ton, I'm happy to try it out.

I wear mine all the time. If someone doesn`t wear one, he is asking for trouble. No deer is worth risking you`re life over. I bought my brothers each one for Christmas gifts. That way we can all return home safely after each hunt.
You can`t grill it till you kill it. For great sales/service, go to http://www.oneidabows.net/
