Not ready for pull-ups?

In keeping with the idea that pull-ups are REALLY important, it is aslo vital to acknowlege that not everyone is ready for them. There are a number of progressions that will help you along.

You can use a partner:

when i was young i had a bar that fit in the door frame,sadly i cant do them like when i was 15[&:]

You can also use a chair to assist.  Kind of like the one above where the guy is on the street.  Put the chair as close or as far as comfortable and use your leg/foot to assist your pull up.
