what is done with unwanted deer meat? (trophy horn hunters...)

I am not a trophy hunter, but me and my friends regardless always donate a portion of our meat to our local food pantries... it is good to see the appreciation from the people that run the place when we bring it in, and we also know that our food pantries always need donations regardless of the type of food.. I knwo they have helped me out when me and my family have needed them going through tough times, it always feels good to give back
