It is a great wealth of information, not to mention and great way to pass time between deer seasons.

My wife is a horrible listener.  She doesn't hunt.   That's why I have you ladies.  [:D][:D]

Another reason -- because "deer hunting trivia" is an oxymoron. There is nothing trivial about deer hunting!

Hunting forums help me stay abreast of all the current trends in hunting.  Like what gear people are using, what techniques seem to be working, etc.  This not only helps me to be a better hunter but it can save me money too.

It's also easier to chat with like-minded people.  As a guitar-player, I like to go to guitar forums as well but the ratio of liberals to conservatives on guitar playing forums is heavily skewed towards the left.  Some of the conversations on those forums can be, well....y'know.

To share and exchange information.

Also, at the time the site lacked the political nonsense so many other sites have - sorry to say that seems to be changing.

Deer hunting ?!? , I thought this was about knitting [:D]. Seriously, I can't seem to get enough or learn enough about hunting whitetails plus it helps make work abit more bearable.

Because I have been reading this magizine almost from the beginning and I know all the knowledge I have gained has made me a better hunter. You can never learn enough about the elusive whitetail. There is almost nothing in the world I would rather do than sit in the woods and watch a buck when he has no idea I am watching.
