Just wondering what the price for lime is generally speaking, i cant seem to find anything anywhere online wise. I know i could figure it out if i go to a co-op but i figured i would just ask you guys so i can get a feel for what you guys have had experience with, thanks!

Just called yesterday-$26 per ton + a one time application fee of $75
So one ton spread - $101
2 ton spread-$127 and so on........
 
I've heard of people getting it hauled and spread for $35 a ton

Lime by far will be the cheapest but also most important step.

Just make sure you don't miss the step of taking a soil sample. It will soon let you know what you do or don't need.

Yeah i plan on taking a few samples of the soil where we will be planting the next time im out there, and taking into a co op here pretty soon.

Not sure what it will be this yr, but last year I paid $40.00 a ton delivered and spread, 8 ton minimum, and a $15.00 fee if moved from one field to the next

Is it recommended to spread lime first then plow it in, or plow and then spread lime and let it absorb into the soil?

I've always heard for best results it's good to spread it then till it in.
