A personal friend of mine (who wishes to keep his name out of circulation for as long as possible) just got the official B&C score on his huge NT crossbow kill. It netted 217", which tops the existing Iowa record crossbow NT by 4".
It has been entered with the state, so unless someone else shot one larger this year, it will be the new record in it's category.
The deer was taken in Clark county in Early Dec., only a few days before the shotgun season opened. This deer had been seen several times and was photographed prior to the kill. It has 25 scoreable points! It looks like he will have it displayed at the deer classic, without his name or personal information. So if you see a huge NT labeled Clark Co., crossbow, that's my buddies' deer.
