Used TC Hawken

I just picked up a used TC Hawken .50. It's not in great shape, I know there is a lifetime warranty for the original owner but I was thinnking of sending it back to the factory and get their opinion on it. I only paid $50 for it and got 2 cans of powder and a bunch of other stuff too so even if it isn't safe to shoot $50 wasn't a bad deal.

That's a good deal regardless of condition at that price. Worst case scenario mount it above the mantle.
 
I just picked up a like new T/C Hawken 50 myself. I paid $200 and thought that was a pretty good price considering its condition. Mine also has the Lyman tang mounted peep sight.
 
There's something about these old style guns that are a lot of fun. Hope yours works out.
