Ground weapon of choice?

Just curious. Please specify the type of ground hunting you do, (ei: still, stalk, blind) and of course your prefered weapon and why.

For stillhunting during bow season, I use a recurve. It's light (around 2 pounds), and extremely versatile, as it can be shot from a horizontal cant if need be, and from half draw. When instinctively shot, I don't have to worry about yardage either.
 
For firearm deer, I use a Browning A-Bolt slug gun topped with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5X5, and I shoot Winchester Partition Gold sabots. With this combo, I can hold dead on from 10 yards out to 130 yards before I have to think about holdover.

When I ground or still hunt here in Indiana I use my 44 mag Marlin. When I hunt in Maryland I use a 30-30 Marlin in the stand and a 35 cal Marlin when walking.

Browning BAR in .30-06 topped with a T/C Hawken hunter scope 1.5-5X32, using Hornaday SST 165 grain bullets.
During muzzleloader I use a T/C Scout topped with a 1.5-4.5X32 Bushnell Banner scope, with 90 grains of American pioneer powder, and a 240 gr XTP 45 cal sabot.

   I still hunt and stalk . But I do use a blind when hunting with one of the kids .
 
   My preferred weapon is my bow . A hoyt v-tech equipped with a quick stand ( 2 legs that attach to a mount behind the stabilizer ) so I can put it down anywhere and it is always ready to shoot .
   I also do this with my Muzzle Loader and Revolver but the bow poses the biggest challenge and is my favorite .

When hunting from behind a blind on the ground, I prefer my 45-70 govt H&R.

I primarily still hunt and hunt from natural ground blinds. My weapon of choice is a 60#martin dream catcher recurve, carbon arrows tipped with magnus 2 blade broadheads.
