Robert, I will be traveling at that time so I will not make it, but I like the idea.

BTW, going to one of those shows without buying anything is like taking a shower in a raincoat.

The Ohio Deer and Turkey Expo is March 20, 21, and 22 in Columbus OH...I'm planning on attending it.  Check out the link.  Any other OH hunters planning on attending this?

I can't get out to the Mid-west, but will be attending the show in Springfield, Mass., on Feb., 19-22.
If anyone wants to meet up there let me know. Also found the "getting together" post.

Anyone find any antlers yet? I will try to get out next weekend if the snow melts. We have about 5 inches on the ground now and it is still snowing.

Anyone going to the Deer Classic in Columbia this weekend?

almost the end of March and I still haven't found any.  I've probably been out looking 12-15 times.  Don't know if I'm not doing something right.  Maybe seeing some and not realizing it or something.  i don't know.

About 2 weeks ago a forkhorn buck was hit about a mile from my house.
I would have thought that they all had dropped their antlers by then.

Found one antler, 4 points the weekend of March 21.  Still get game camera photos of bucks with antlers at that same time.

Good to see we still have plenty of deer on our property and surrounding area.

Robert.....all the Bucks around my place lost their antlers about the middle of Feb.,from all the trail camera pictures I got they all had dropped their antlers when they showed up after that date.I did find a small 3-Point Rack in an open field behind our Farm Pond in March.

I would love to go to the Whitetail Classic in Columbia but it is a pretty good drive from here in Southeast Missouri,a friend of mine usually goes there and he said it was getting smaller and less Hunting Oriented each year! [&:]
