I used to use screw in steps untill I had one break going up the tree and when it broke needless to say I can down very fast so no I don't use them anymore

the damage to loggers and equipment has been stated the damage to the tree is your opening the tree up to insects and the like.its like pricking your finger not a big deal but if it gets infected.....
