I miss the mag.

Postby Goose » Sat Feb 28, 2009 6:00 am

I hate these couple of months, winter is dragging on and no D&DH mags to read by the fireplace. I miss those mags[:(][:(]

Goose, I got my Jan.- Feb issue of Bugle from RMEF and I'm really impressed! 138 pages of good reading. I've had it for awhile now and still haven't finished reading all the articles and stories. The $35 membership fee is the best $35 I've ever spent. I just got my invite to the Waupaca RMEF Banquet being held in Freemont on March 28th. I can't wait, it should be a good time.

I've been missing the mag as well! I caught some nice fish under the ice this year, it does reduce the "cabin fever" quite a bit. Although  it's nothing like the Babe taking his daughter tarpon fishing off the keys! [;)]

Anybody get their "30yrs of D&DH" dvd in the mail yet? That'd sure help pass the time.... After lots of delays, cust. svc. told me "shooting for march" and saw my cc billed the other day, so maybe it's coming

I'll be renewing my subscription this week. While scouting out some turkey hunting locations this past weekend, I found what looks to be a very promising spot for deer hunting this fall.
