Wow thats a funky looking rack. Too bad the deer went unfound....
At least you'll be able to enjoy the rack now, thanks for sharing!

Any idea where it was hit?

No, I didn't realize the arrow was lying with the deer until after I moved the carcass to twist the head off. I found him during the thaw two weeks ago and it was not exactly an enviornment that made me want to go all CSI.

Neat find JPH!  Too bad for the hunter.

I'll be heading out for some serious shed hunting next weekend.  I've put in about 10 hours with no luck yet.

My daughter found her first shed antler today. It was very cold and windy we were only out for about 30 min.   She can't wait for it to warm up a little bit so she can find the other side.

It was pretty awesome I don't know who was more excited me or her, she tripped on it twice before figureing out  what  kept getting tangled up in her feet.  She got home and put it on her shelf with her soccer trophies, and wanted to go back out later that day. So we went out for about 1:30 hours today no luck then I went out with a buddy for another 2:30 hours with no luck.  Going to hit it again in tommorrow.
