Afghanistan

I know that this is not a deer hunting subject, but I am asking for everyone's prayers for my son, Chris. He is a Combat Medic with one tour already in Iraq the last couple of years. He will be deployed to Afghanistan this fall. Just as the troops are winding out of Iraq, looks like Afghanistan may heat up pretty good. So would everyone that visits Deer and Deer Hunting please say a prayer for him and all of our Military and post just a small reply, if you have ever served in the military or are now serving. Also, if you know someone who is now serving or that has served in the past, just post a small reply here, and let's start a prayer chain for them.

Prayers are on their way per your request. Please tell your son thank you from me. I'll keep the prayers going 'til everyone gets to come home. My son Mike just got back from 14 months in Baghdad. He'll be in the states until Feb 2010  then off to Afghanistan for a tour there. I also have a nephew in Kandahar Afghanistan right now and another nephew at the hospital in Landstuhl, Germany (he's a navy corpsman, not a patient.) Both these nephews have already done a tour in Iraq. May God bless all those who serve their country.
