I hunt Public Land in Winnebago and Ogle Counties. Tough Hunting but I enjoy the challenge. Find the right spots and I see plenty of deer.

I live in Ogle County and walk to one of two sites that are very small wooded areas along the Stillman Creek.

Not the most ideal place but it is a travel corridor.

Fulton Co. just west of Havana...

Private ground.

We've pulled several 130-140 class in the last 4 years, but the true monsters continue to evade.

Hopefully this year!!!

Fulton county- South of Canton Hunt private land here and gun hunt in Peoria county-Private ground across from the Banner Marsh.
To date I have taken to nice trophy class deer and have seen dozens of trophy class bucks during my sits in the woods over the years, Have only seen does so far this year and have bagged one doe she is currently being made into salami at the local locker, went out today and seen some good signs, fresh rubs on the trees and lots of fresh tracks the deer are realy moving right now in my opinion.
