Okay Holly, this is not uncommon. In the end, it all comes down to motivation. This is true for the Olympic athlete, Navy SEAL, or the average person looking to shape up. We all have to unlock our own potential in our own way.
It sounds to me like you may have bitten off a little more than you can chew. No big deal. The classes may move at a better pace, but you may find those painful too. You may need to begin by simply taking a short walk every day. If you can keep it up, no matter what, you'll begin to like it. Then one day you'll want to go further, or finish faster. Maybe you'll find yourself wanting to carry small weights. Whatever, the point is that you need to accept very slow progress.
This is not an infomertial where they promise quick results without breaking a sweat. It takes time and determination. We're pulling for you!
