The white deer in Wisconsin seem to be randomly white -- only some (maybe most in that area) are white. In the New York population at Seneca, I think all of them are white.
I don't understand why people do not want them hunted. Isn't it well known that albinos often have unhealthy traits, and are generally inferior specimens?
