How to tell if there are buck eating your corn without a camera

Does anyone know how to tell if there are buck eating your corn without a camera? I do im just seeing if yall know yalls stuff lol..

Standing corn I assume? I dont really hunt corn fields much..but I would say, maybe the antlers rub on the corn stock a little bit while hes trying to peal it off. Just a guess. Fill us in, we'd all love to learn and hear more about deer anytime.

Thanks for the answer to that but im talking about bagged corn you throw on the ground or put in a feeder.

well i can't say that i know my stuff then..cause i couldn't tell ya what was eating the corn with out a camera...or snow..but since i don't bait maybe i am a little behind you modern day hunters!!!!

When the corn is gone and there are deer tracks in the area where the corn was.

When a buck is walking his back foot will always step into his front track there for it will be a double track and that is a proven fact from me and alot of old timers.

From what I understand, a mature buck's chest is broader than it's hips, therefore the back print will "not" be in the front print. Does & young bucks have a better chance of making your double tracks.

i guess if you put your corn in mud it is easy to tell....but again baiting is not a recommended why of hunting in my world..to each his own but you will never see a foot print around a bait pile where ever i hunt....

With mature male animals you would find a longer deeper track.  lighter younger animals????  Not saying you are wrong about the double track deal but I've just never seen it.  Also if your feeder is pvc after the velvet comes off you can find gouges in the side of the pipe.
