To early to use deer calls?

Do you think it is to early in the season to start using grunts, bleats and rattling in Maryland?

I'm not sure about Maryland, but here in Michigan, I saw bucks sparring last week, so I'll be rattling this weekend! Nothing heavy, but a little tickling of the tips to pique their interest!
